Face your customers stupid

The many-layered organisation with an entrenched hierarchy is a thing of the past.

Jonas Ridderstalle and Kjell Nordstrom define this old paradigm excellently in their book Funky Business (London: Pearson Education, 2000) when they say;

“Hierarchy is an organization with its face toward the CEO and its ass toward the customer.”
